Darren Laver and the ISSA joins the Street Soccer Foundation – Sierra Leone

Street Soccer Foundation – Sierra Leone is a recognised youth serving charity that is working closely with the Ministry of Sport, Ministry of Social Welfare, Gender and children`s Affairs and the National Youth Commission in Sierra Leone. We have been very instrumental in facilitating the develop of creative football players and inspiring young people to change their own lives through the power of football. Implementing educational programmes aimed at promoting leadership and sustainability. Used football as a means of engaging children and young people living both in shelter and on the road. We touch the lives of children and young people and make a significant change through the beautiful game of football. The Foundation, and our members, are committed to ensuring safe environments for children and young people and believe that it is always unacceptable for a child or young person to experience abuse of any kind. We recognise our responsibility to safeguard the welfare of all children and young people, by a commitment to recommend best practice which protects them. We have long held in esteem and chosen Mr. Laver as a board member of the Sierra Leone Street Soccer Foundation. His value to our organization is critical, as his role consists of determining the organization’s mission and vision. He is also responsible for reviewing and judging performance of other coaches.
